Title: Some files cannot be scanned...
Post by: gapch12 on January 23, 2012, 10:59:46 PM
I keep getting this come up after I ran CCLeaner.  I was doing some computer clean up. The log shows the these files to be system volume information\ restore .....

I have not able to remove this files through Avast.

I hope that someone will tell exactly what I need to do, spelling out step by step.

I am using Avast Free 6.0.1367, computer is WXP Sp3.

why should avast remove them.....avast is a antivirus and will only remove infected files

files that can not be scanned are just that and does not mean they are infected

if you want to delete and create new restore points, you turn off system restore reboot and turn it on again

Disable system restore, reboot and the problem is solved.
