Title: Unable to access avast! Administration Console

Just to give you guys the full story:
After running a Full System scan from the avast admin console at 7PM PST on 2/2/2012, I decided to walk away from this client server, as I had successfully ran
I had made sure it was a deep-level scan. That is, I made sure to scan entire files. I also made sure to disable the option to shut down after the scans were complete.

The problem:
Not only did the server shut down after the scans were complete, I no longer can load the BPP admin console.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Are there steps I can take to resolve the console not loading?


On a side-note, why a web-based console?

Turns out the service was stopped after the shut down, power up. The credentials were incorrect.
Besides that, why would a shutdown occur when I had disabled the option?
