Hi,I have DSO exploits that Avast isnt picking up on when i run a scan, what do i do :-[
-
A exploit is not malware. It is a shortcomming in a application, in this case in Windows.
-
how can i fix the problem?
-
That is because the avast Network Shield has blocked the attempted intrusion (that is why you can't find anything in your scan).
The message is a warning about the attempt, no further action is required. You can confirm this by checking the Network Shied log.

Just make sure you have all security patches/updates from Microsoft installed, and not only for Windows but also for MS-Office if you have that installed.
Also make sure you are using a firewall.
