Title: a queation about the theft
Post by: TLoz on February 12, 2012, 04:29:46 PM
I rooted my xperia play. Is on 2.3.4. I went to my anti theft menu and clicked on set up advanced settings and then clicked on automatically enable gps. A message comes up saying that google has blocked the feature and I need to install the anti theft root. I tried looking for it but no luck.

You choose between rooted and non-rooted installation in the setup wizard. You have to reinstall the Anti-Theft module if you want to switch between the two modes.

It will if you have GPS disabled by default (or the thief disables it) because it will enable the GPS automatically, provide you with the best location it can get and then shutdown it again.
