Title: v7 not live yet?

hello avast guys,

where can i get v7? the download page shows it, but neither the download nor updating avast gets me to the new version :(

you're in the wrong forum.
avast! 7 is for windows, avast! mac edition has nothing to do with this update.

well, the reason i said that was because no one reported about avast! 7 for mac, as the latest version of mac beta in sticky doesn't relate to avast 7, and new updates for mac weren't logged, it seems that the update for mac hasn't been released yet.
wait for the mods to announce about the new beta edition for mac, and you will be fine.

I believe the intention is for the new Mac release to be based on the v7 engine. Currently it is in beta and you can download the current beta at http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=78646.0
