I'm still clinging to avast 6 [based on all the problems I've read here about version 7].
Since the release of avast 7, it seems the auto-sandbox in avast 6 [and/or the behavior shield] has become more "perky" (for want of a better term)... it's now trying to auto-sandbox programs that have long resided [and been used] on my PC (and also on my wife's PC) that were never sandboxed previously.
So I'm wondering: Assuming that avast 6 and 7 share the same definition updates (yes???), is something in avast 7 [specifically, the new File Rep] causing changes in the [mutual] definintion files, which result in the avast 6 [yes, SIX] auto-sandbox (and/or behavior shield) now questioning items that had been "acceptable" in the past???

That's right.

Asyn,
Thank you for confirming that versions 6 and 7 share the same definition updates.
So it that what's responsible for the sudden "perkiness" in avast 6's auto-sandbox?

1. You're welcome.
2. Well, I can't confirm/deny it, as I don't have any V6 system at hand anymore.
