Title: Avast 7 sandboxed IBM Files plus others
Post by: avp123 on February 28, 2012, 06:20:40 PM
Hello,
I have some questions regarding the following 3 files that were sandboxed in Avast 7.
I am running XP SP3 on a Thinkpad.  Are these files accessble for use or updates
while locked in the sandbox? Should I remove files from sandbox, retest, etc.?
Thanks.

please exclude them from sandbox if ur sure that they are safe to use

look at the screenshot  :)

note that the autosandbox feature (the one which will give u a blue popup when u run an unknown programme) is used by Avast! purely for analysis purposes (i.e. check if the programme is malicious or not)
the programme will be terminated by Avast! after a few sec, so is not usable at all

if ur talking about the manual sandbox (the one started by the user himself) in Avast! 7 pro/internet security, it is a different story all together
