Title: After New Avast 7 Update in Free Version I Cannot Send Emails with Mozilla

Please can someone help - I recently clicked the update box that came up to upgrade my free version of Avast to Avast 7 and now cannot seem to send email with Mozilla Thunderbird. I have unticked the mail sheild box in Avast which was the problem the last time I upgraded, but it still doesn't work. When I disable Avast, then I can send emails again. Does anyone know what else the problem could be??
