I have just updated to Avast 7 pro.
Now my callpilot voicemail is being blocked. Have fixed it for now by switching mail shield heuristic checking of attachments OFF - sure it was on in 6 if it existed.
I also have *.VBK files ignored in file system shield or they will not open, however without the above fix the file is now removed and a heuristics message is inserted.
I note that this was a problem back in 2006 and 2008 at which point no solution was offered other than switching scanning off. It has been working fine for me so far in both versions 5 and 6.
I am not happy in reducing protection and ask if there is an alternate method of whitelisting the .VBK files.
