I wasn't expecting such a minimal interface tbh ... I discovered it after the install. I'll keep it running a few weeks and see how it runs. This could be the perfect solution for millions who never check anything on their systems, never update etc... they are literally millions and millions ...

ps: I do too much manual checking in fact ;D ... but I want to try it.

logos, will we no longer get emails regarding this?

I never had to download anything before, just click on an email but I haven't received one from secunia in quite a while.

I never received any, I heard about that beta in the updates section here.

It couldn't find any programs to update.  ;D  (Windows 8 Consumer Preview.)
