Can someone tell me how I can setup Avast so I don't have to keep answering the yes or no question when I try to update my Malwarebytes program????
I only ask this because it doesn't ask me this question when I go to update my SuperAntispyware program and I never setup anything in Avast for that program.

I did all that and it said does the same popup (see attached).
The version before Avast 7 didn't have this problem and why is Avast not worried about the SuperAntispyware program????

What MBAM do you have free or Pro ?
It never bothers me when MBAM Pro auto updates or if I happen to do a manual update and I have zero exclusions set for MBAM in avast, only c:\windows\temp\_avast_ in the Ignore List of MBAM (that would only be required in the MBAM Pro version).
What is the actual file name and location ?
Seeing your attachment now that isn't an avast pop-up but your OS UAC notification.

Yeah, thats a User Account Control pop-up....its directly related to Windows, Avast! has no effect on this.
FYI, you can turn UAC off if you do not like it and accept the risk of doing so.

It's the pro version.
I'm not going to worry about it but SuperAntispyware is the only thing I've seen on my new computer that it doesn't ask me yes or no to make changes to my computer

Get used to UAC, as it is a pain in the rear and in my opinion pretty useless, malware doesn't seem to have any problem getting past it, legit programs a whole different ball game.
Even on its lowest sensitivity, it can still be a pain in the rear. Thank god it isn't on XP and I have disabled it on my win7 netbook as even on the lowest setting it is too damn intrusive. But as has been mentioned you have to accept that this comes with a risk if you opt to disable it.

I agree with you, UAC can be bothersome. The trouble with turning UAC off is it disables protected mode in IE. Not a problem if you use another browser but IE users should think twice before disabling UAC. If UAC is to be turned off it should be done first thing after a clean windows install as doing so later can cause problems.
