I was using remote assistance yesterday and it would disconnect from the other computer after about 10 minutes then after using it like 3 or 4 times in a row the computer I was connected to would not connect anymore and they were getting an error.
They are running avast free latest version and I am running avast internet security latest version.

We need more information Like, What did the error say? Can you give you some pictures?

I have been trying to access Remote Assistance for the past couple of days an it wont connect. I tried from 2 computers ver 1426 installed. It was working OK with version 1407.
Athlon 1700, XP pro sp2, 1.25 G ram
Pentium 4, 2 GHz, XP pro sp3, 1.5 G. ram

maybe this has to do with the my.avast.com servers being down? Again this morning they are giving message "Service Temporarily Unavailable"

Sorry I wanted to include a picture and I forgot. I also want to mention that I deactivated my firewall and other protection I have but it still wouldn't connect.

having the remote problem too. it has been up and down since Avast! 7 release. guess its the server side issue.

Has anybody used remote assistance and if you have do the sessions automatically end/close after about 10 minutes??? ANYBODY??
