Title: Avast!4 and notebook
Post by: ppetrysz on August 25, 2003, 07:32:45 AM
Hello.
I tried to run Avast!4 on Toshiba Satelite A10-S203 but I could not.
I installed it succesfully, Avast!4 had scanned my computer before Windows XP HE loaded but then when I was trying to run Avast!4 I saw a small window and I could only write an email with description of error to Avast!4 authors.
Had anybody similar problem?
Best regards
Peter

It looks like classic problem with ODBC, I think. Try to change value of "Database" key in data\avast4.ini file placed in avast! installation directory. Change its value from "ODBC" to "XML" and restart avast! or whole operating system.
