Title: Can't scan "Mail.log"
Post by: bluto32 on March 22, 2012, 09:42:37 AM
Hello,

I have the latest version of Avast (7.0.1426) running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
(No other AV software is running at present full-time, although I occasionally scan with Malwarebytes.)

For the last few days, I get a message after a full scan telling me that "Mail.log" in the Avast5\log directory couldn't be scanned because "another process had locked a portion of the file (33)". Is this a bug / anything to be concerned about? When reading the log in notepad, it looks ok... just a harmless looking ASCII file which looks like it belongs to Avast.

Problem seems to have gone away now. (I think a couple of reboots cleared it.)
