Title: scheduled scan
Post by: dooley on August 25, 2003, 11:17:41 AM
Hi to you all.           I have recently installed Avast 4 (am more than happy with it) &  wondered if it is possible to schedule a scan, ie every monday at 17:00 Hrs. I have tried using "scheduled tasks" in windows ME,  it bought up the splash screen at the time set, but I still have to be at the computer to select discs & press the go button. can anyone help.  Thanks.

I think your problem is with executable you are scheduling. Try to schedule ashQuick.exe with path to directories to be scanned - it should meet your needs.

If you are using Professional Edition, you can schedule avast! task in directly in enhanced user interface of avast!
