Title: Feature Suggestion Help Command
Post by: raptortech97 on March 27, 2012, 01:21:16 AM
Avast! Anti-theft is really useful, but it has quite a few commands. I know one way to get the command list is http://www.avast.com/free-mobile-security#commands (http://www.avast.com/free-mobile-security#commands). Another is http://files.avast.com/files/documentation/mobile-security-user-guide-en.pdf (http://files.avast.com/files/documentation/mobile-security-user-guide-en.pdf). You can also see the command list in the app. I think it would be useful, though, to have a command such as 2222 HELP that would cause the phone to reply with a link to the PDF guide. In order to make it as easy as possible on people, I suggest making each of the following commands do the same thing:
Code: [Select]
2222 HELP
2222 MANUAL
2222 MAN
This will make it as easy as possible after someone's phone is lost or stolen.

I'd  like this feature very much. But what would be even better is if the command {man, help, ?, mannual} return, instead of link to pdf (many people don't have smartphones AND/OR internet connection), actual list of commands. Then you could use man <command> to see explanatio what <command> is doing and what attributes it has.
I like Anti theft very much. Keep up the good work.
