My Granddaughter did something to my Virus protection and I cannot enable the shields, can anyone tell me what happen to it. I have misplaced my disk  to reinstall it on the computer. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried a repair, proceed to uninstall avast and when you get the popup choose repair and reboot when completed.
