Title: Avast and corrupt files
Post by: Becca24221 on April 18, 2012, 06:01:52 PM
When I do a boot scan Avast shows me that I  have several corrupt files. Does Avast do anything with these corrupt files (fix, delete, etc) or is it just alerting me to the fact that they are there?

nope....avast is only interested in infected files
and files that can not be scanned are just that, it does not mean they are infected

most of them seems to be temp files

TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer

TFC requires a reboot immediately after running. Be sure to save any unsaved work before running TFC.
