Title: I have to close avast in order to send a email using outlook.

C an anyone help me with this problem. I have to close outlook in in order to send an email from outlook. I am using windows xp and Office 2007.

Until someone comes along who can give you specific advise on your problem you can search the avast! Forum under "Outlook".   There should be quite a lot of threads and most likely your problem has been previously posted and resolved here before.
