Title: What exactly is meant by 'registering' the free version?

What exactly is meant by 'registering' the free version?

What happens if I do? What happens if I don't?

Do I have to? Will it make the constant popup ads for pro version go away?

The link tells you how to register but I'm not seeing anything about why you should or what happens if you don't. Also, why you don't have to register when you install Avast then get raging threatening popups a few weeks later.  Did I overlook something?

If you don't register, you won't get any updates.
The initial install works without registering for 30 days. ;)
And please stay in one topic..!!! Thanks.

Just make your life easier and register. It takes what 2 minutes of your time to register, and the while youve spent more time complaining about the annoying and raging ads avast is giving you.
