Title: few questions about Avast for Mac

So I am an avid user of Avast on my windows PC and with all the malware going around on older Mac's I decided to get my girl friends Mac protection as well with your version of Avast.

Can I get some tips/pointers about this version compared to the Windows version?

I tested it out with Eicar and even though the files were detected they were still allowed to download and open. So what happens to downloaded files that are detected as malicious? I don't see any type of Virus Chest or even an option to delete detected files in the File Shield.

How were you able to download the EICAR file? in my case the web shield prevented it from being downloaded.
