Title: Mail problems.......

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: '127.0.0.1', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 127.0.0.1 avast! scanner not available', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67  


I need to get my mail now.......emergency...and Avast is blocking it.......what is the problem penIII  800m   ME

In order to scan mail the on-access scanner has to be running and 'provider' "Internet Mail" be started (it should be by default). Click on "a" icon in taskbar and try to start "Internet Mail", also look at Services if service "avast! antivirus" is running, if no try to start it. If you see any errors please post them.
