Title: pc tune up request.
Post by: Akash1 on May 05, 2012, 02:09:21 PM: when compared to other antivirus soft suites , avast provides us a large no of extra features like safezone but the only feature avast lacks is pc tuneup feature. Even a simple activity eraser , startup manager and a registery cleaner would fill the blank. i request avast to add such add-ons .

Add Ccleaner (http://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER)

Post by: CraigB on May 05, 2012, 02:57:28 PM: Adding these sort of features really aren't the job of an antivirus plus it would just be adding bloat imo, as already mentioned use CCleaner - using a specific tool for a specific job always work better.

Unfortunately complete and a single pc protection product = Bloatware. :'(

Maybe avast! could come up with a "Cleaner in the Cloud" and provide a link to it from their AV programs. :)

I don't like bloatware. If avast to get that way.. i might keep avast but i have have thoughts of installing another.. xD

Something that you kind of already expect to be a bit bloated with features when you get it.
