Title: Does ban the IRAN's IP?

Hi to the moderator of the avast! corporation!
i have Question about address & the avast! internet security version 7!!!
Does avast company ban the all of the Iran's ip addresses??
why we can't get the update??
This is not my profession!in iran all of the people talk about this problem!
why you ban the Iranian ip?
This software is very popular in Iran!

Most likely, this is related to an embargo or some such political strong-arming.

AVAST Software a.s. [and its subsidiaries/sister companies] must not provide any services in these countries because of policies and regulations that are applicable to AVAST Software a.s.

Blog and forum are available, because we hope they are information source/personal communication service and because of this they have exclusion from these regulations.

No.  Avast! is responsible for following the laws of the countries it resides and does business in.  This is a problem above Avast!'s authority.
