i normally use mac osx but I set skinless for the other users at home
if i had to vote on one of Sasha`s skins it would be the new kde one

I like the 'macloveros x' that is the one I'm using right now. Not sure if this would be a little misleading as some may think that avast is ok for mac's.
I also like the 'RejZor Sharp' skin, very clear for new users I think.
Edit: Ooops - Since the macloveros x is not a Craftec skin, then RejZor Sharp would be my opton.

Vlk, all of them are pretty good, but to avoid users talking that avast is weird, bloatware appearance, unprofessional and nonsenses like that, please, choose the more 'simple & direct' ones:
1) LiteOn
2) RejZor Sharp
3) Corporate
4) Flat'n'Simple
Blue Expe from Darren Floyd is quite good for this too.
To the Alwil ones, I'll give a chance back for the Glass Plate and Petite.
Edit: My favorite, undoubtly, SZC-KDE ;)

I'm glad you people like Maclover OSX skin made by RejZor, and I'm very happy I can say I helped RejZor with some graphic work to finish that skin...
...but, question and topic was: Which Craftec's skin would you like to see in avast distribution?
I am not being selfish... if you ask me, I would put at least one skin from each skin designer in standard avast! package, but unfortunately, it would be huge download, and we have to think of those who are still on dial-up... That's why Vlk asked which one of Craftec's skins... don't you people think I deserved to see one of my skins in standard avast! package... after all those months spent on drawing, making animations, including all kind of special effects and compiling those skins... I don't know, but if you think different, that's fine with me... I just wanna see what people think. That's more important to me than seeing one of my skins in there... Vlk will decide anyway. If you ask me, I am against including any of my skins in standard package if people don't wanna see my skin in there. No hard feelings at all... I'm serious.
I don't wanna influence anyone's opinion, but I think I have right to say which one I like most. I'm still in dilemma in between RejZor-Sharp skin and SZC-KDE. Both, in my opinion, have pretty much professional look, but I would go with SZC-KDE just because it looks professional and in the same time much more sophisticated and polished.
Also, I adore Bionic-avast! skin (I spent much longer time on making this one than on any other skin), but I don't think we should go with that one...
Just my 2 cents here... ;)

I won't mind if you include my skin too hehe ;)
Otherwise i'll give vote for RejZoR-Sharp (very pro looking skin) and latest SZC-KDE (very nice design) although people might think Home Edition works on Linux too :P
Anyway,these two skins are best from SZC imo :)

Which Craftec's skin would you like to see in avast distribution
I thought the title of this Thread was pretty explicit and asked which of Sasha's Skin's should be included.
That gives us a choice of 17 if I counted right.
I personally like the latest one he made. (SZC-KDE) even though sometimes
I go back to my old favorite of Lcars or the one he made to honer the heroes of 9/11.
Again thanks Sasha For all the work you put into the many nice skins and for the nice Avatar I'm using. ;D ;D

Maybe a slight modification of the SZC-KDE skin would be ideal?
I mean, although Craftec wanted to express his inspiration by the KDE theme, I personally wouldn't say the design is "stolen" from KDE (at least my KDE looks quite different).
So we could remove the Linux copyright texts -- I just somehow feel they are superfluous, especially if the skin is to be included in the standard avast distribution.
In fact the Mac-inspired skins also don't have Apple copyrights on them...
Hope you understand what I mean... ;)

OK, new version of SZC-KDE sent to Ondrej (Vlk). No more copyright notes on skin. This way skin looks even better and much more clean... Thanks for suggestion Vlk.
My latest (new) skin release preview is in General Topics Forum, so please everyone take a look if you are interested... Note: I'm still working on it, so please be patient... It's called avast! Brushed ;)

My vote would be for either G5 or the new Avast brushed (looks exactly like OS X.2 Jaguar!)

Actually,
The new creation by Sasha makes it tough to choose, however, if we consider what Avast stands for and that we want a "universal" type skin for distribution, I actually like the "Corporate Skin". Make it slightly larger and I think that this skin personafies the true spirit of Avast.
Since Sasha is such a fantastic artist, it is really hard to pick one out of the many. He continues to outdo himself.

I personally use Flat n Simple most of the time.

That's not my skin. I just helped a little to RejZor, by drawing some graphics for avast! dialog interface, but 98% of work was done by RejZor. All credits goes to him and please don't mix those things in the future. Author who gave everything to make some certain skin, deserve to be mentioned when it comes to discussion about his/her skins. OK, he must admit, that I was the only one who really, really pushed him to finish that skin. If he appreciate my help, he should admit it...
Again, Maclover OSX skin was made by RejZor, not me.
Second thing... default skin "Silver Panel" done by Martin Novak is out of this topic. That skin is already "built-in" into standard avast! package, and question here was which one of all those skins created by me should be integrated into standard package. If someone thinks that my skins sucks, it would be great to say that, so I'll know and you won't see any of my skins in standard package. Simple... No one is trying to force anyone, not Alwil nor me... they decided to include one of those skins and I just think it was very thoughtful of them, that's all.

I would also like to point that RejZoR-Sharp skin was NOT created by me,but by Sasha.
It just carries my name because the skin was dedicated to me.

I still think SZC-KDE (i see many of us agree about this one ; ) or RejZoR-Sharp should ship with avast! (both together would be even better).
I don't know,these two skins are just jumping out of the crowd...

I'm sorry people, but it's possible to include just one skin into standard package... why ? They all are pretty large in physical size, I used 24bit color pallete (BMP24)... lack of space is always problem, especially it would be a huge problem for dial-up users. Alwil have to make sure that downloading process goes easy and as fast as it's possible.
I would like if they can put one of mine skins and RejZor's MacLover OSX in standard package, but unfortunately, Vlk said, there will be room only for one additional skin...
I will be happy to see people make up their mind. If they don't want any of mine skins in there, no problems at all. No hard feelings, no one will die ;D
Btw, SZC-KDE has new face... I changed few minor things that Vlk pointed me to... see screenshot for short list of changes.

Grrr only one skin... Now i can't make up my mind between RejZoR-Sharp and SZC-KDE,although RejZoR-Sharp uses a bit more system neutral design ???

Yes, and to be true, I don't give a damn about those. Those people are just jealous, nothing else. It's been proved million of times by now.
If I let those poeple decide what kind of skins I should make, I wouldn't be designer at all. I would be just another slave, saying: "yes master, yes master..."
Well, in this busines things are not working like that. They have great oportunity to choose between all those skins, no one forces them to use them. If they hate them, that's their problem, not mine and I won't listen that crap any more. I never forced anyone to love my skins, so I'm asking them nicely not to tell me what to do. I'm making these skins just because I like to do it, and I like to make avast! users and Alwil team happy. If Alwil says something, I'll change my approach, otherwise, nothing's gonna change. Vlk said once that avast! is different, why shouldn't we make it looks different ?
It's very easy to be designer when someone already finished some skin... after that everyone's clever and everyone thinks that they would do it better... well, SkinBuilder is in there, Photoshop is waiting. What are they waiting for ? Scared maybe ? Yes... because it's much easier to bark, than to do something like that...
Technical, do not worry about those people. Nothing will ever be good enough for them, anyway. Even if you make something perfect, they will find something to complain about. That's in their blood. I know people who are like that, I know them very well...

My vote is for Lite-On. I think the fact that avast is asking what we think about what skins should be included in the program that were made by Craftec is very nice. Craftec always does alot for avast and for the members of this forum and I for one think this is a good thing that he is being recognized for what he has done and will continue to do. Thanks Craftec keep up the good work.

As far as I'm concerned, I won't get and I won't loose anything even if they choose one of my skins, but also if they decide not to use any of them... I don't care. I already made them, so I'm not concerned what's gonna happen to them... no one can erase them, anyway, they are part of the skins download section already. That's enough for me, that gives me enough satisfaction...

That's the answer they would like to hear... I don't mean it has to be one of my skins, if avast! users think that it should be someone else's skin, I will be happy to congratulate to that guy. All those skin designers, we are not competitors to each opther in here, we like to draw, so the final product are all those skins... Isn't it good feeling to be able to say, that we are proud users of one of the best antiviruses out there, and also, avast! is the only one that supports skins, but also it supports skinless feature in the same time... :) So, something for everyone !

But the SZC-KDE skin is the best of all the skins, in my opinion of course ...
