Title: meaning of warnings
Post by: eyart on June 19, 2012, 07:42:58 PM
I have a bunch of "Files with warnings in archive:1" what does this mean? should I delete the files in my time machine backup hard drive?

I have this same problem. Ran a scan (lasting over 22 hrs) and got 47 warnings from my back-up (TimeMachine) drive. When I clicke "Repair" button I get a message that it is unable to repair (maybe it doesn't repair a warning.) Same question; Should I delete the files?

Do not delete those files. Warnings are usually just a notice that avast! couldn't scan a file. Files with warnings are most likely clean.
