Title: How to set up scheduled scan ?
Post by: Gillou on December 30, 2004, 06:30:40 PM
Hello everyone
I'd like to schedule an automatic scan of my computer once a week. I couldn't find this feature under Avast interface.
Is it possible to set it up directly under Avast ?
Or under "scheduled tasks" within Windows ? In this cas, what command line option should i use to launch the scan automaticallly ?

Thanks a lot !

Yes it is possible if you have the Pro version. If you have the home version you need to use the tasksheduler in Windows to do it, as has been explained in another thread.

I have the Home Edition.
I'll deal with scheduled tasks from Windows then.
Thank you very much for giving me the link, i had searched for words "command line" and "auto scan" and that didn't match anything interesting.
