Okay. Attached the Avast log screenshot, and a shot of my windows update. It doesnt download updates. Any ideas why it wont work? Thank so much! Everything else is good.

My fault .. You hadn't used my updated scan script so it missed one vital bit of data

run farbar service scanner

Tick "All" options.
Press "Scan".
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

Download the zip file from the link below to your desktop
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73555776/bits.zip
Extract the registry file to your dekstop
Double click the file and allow to merge

Now check windos updates and let me know of any remaining problems
