AvastSvs.exe consumes up to 28% CPU power at Startup
« on: October 13, 2012, 06:20:57 AM »
Hi
Lately, in the latest Avast free version,  at start up and when back from hibernation, AvastSvs.exe consumes up to 28% CPU power and immobilizes my machine. It is quite annoying, is that normal? Is there a way to stop that, or skip what ever it is doing? It is not an update procedure as I disabled that in  Avast settings.
Thanks.

Since avastSvc.exe is the main avast service and scanning engine, I'm not surprised that it jumps into action when your system comes back to life reloading apps, etc.
