Problems uploading large files by e-mailp...
« on: March 10, 2005, 07:09:19 PM »
???
[img]Please, can somebody help me about this problem? When I try to send large files by e-mail, it appears a blank screen in the  browser page who says "avast! server... time-out... " etcetera.
It's the same for WinExplorer, Firefox and Opera web browsers. The only solution is deactivate the web-scan?

I'm sorry for my bad english language. Thanks for your response (I hope!)  ::)

Increase the timeout in Avast and your email application.

Timeout settings in Avast can be changed in avast4.ini
(INFORMATION)

Timeout setting in the email client are mostly in the email account settings or the general settings.

For Outlook Express - Look in a similar location if using a different email client.

You might want to put your pin in the avast map of the world, this will put your countries flag with your details on the left.

Just click on the Member Map button at the top of the page, select your country from the drop down list.
