avast license for a yr?

Does any one  know how to get the  avast license for a year  ? I've tried to do it  via  my email  and type it  in but all the  numbers and letters won't fit on it

Which license? Free? Pro? AIS? Premier?

Free just register via the GUI.
Pro, AIS and Premier click on the "insert license" button.  :)

From the GUI>Maintenance>Register(?)>click on the "insert license".
avast will locate the file and you will be good to go.  :)

it says: :"Unable to insert  the license file.  the signature is invalid . the  license file is corrupted or  modified"

There is no free pro version - trying to insert the avast free registration key into avast Pro (which is a paid version that requires a license file), will fail. You have to have purchased the license to receive it for the avast Pro version.
