Sand Box

When I downloaded a Simulator game, Avast! ask me to use sand box as this wont allow me to save any info I say always allow, but it still wont let me save any info to return to the game at the point of saving it. anyone with any help please, would like to disable sandbox if poss

What's your Operating System Which version of avast are you running Free, paid
What other security programs are installed???
