Blocking my downloads
« on: December 04, 2013, 10:36:24 PM »
I am trying to re-download some games I purchased from Amazon and cannot get them to download. After an hour with the tech support at Amazon,it was decided Avast is the problem even after it was disabled. Has this happened to anyone else and what do I do to fix it? The games were purchased on an XP computer and the new one is Windows 7.Tech says they should be compatible.

Getting no messages or errors. The screen just blinks like it would go to another page, but then nothing happens.Like it was blocked.

What browser are you using because my first guess would be the Avast Online Security plugin?

Same place as all the other Firefox add-ons - Menu Bar > Tools > Add-ons.

That said I have no problem with firefox downloads with avast and the avast online security add-on.
