I updated now I'm not secured

I updated my avast account when I was prompted too and now it won't start this is the message I get

The following components could not be started
File System Sheild

Avast 2014.9.0.2011
140111-1

Please go to Uninstall programs or Programs and Features, double click avast then choose repair and reboot when completed.
Let us know how that goes.
