Apple Safari for Windows
« on: May 14, 2014, 02:32:24 PM »
Is using Apple Safari for Windows OS safe to run? Is apple safari still supported by Windows, because their last update for safari for windows was on May 9, 2012 version 5.1.7. Does Apple Safari has the ability to not remember browsing history at all like Mozilla Firefox? I need it for SAS Free Edition forum, because if you all firefox to remember history and u log in to SAS and log out and close the browser. After that you open up firefox and go to SAS Free Edition Forum, it keeps the user logged in automatically. So in order to avoid being kept logged in after you exist the user must let firefox to not remember browing history at all...

I had few issues with firefox updater in the past and recent weeks, because updating firefox to a new version keeps the icon of the old version in add/remove and it shows the new version of it. I again installed firefox with custom settings by unchecking Mozilla Maintenance Service prior to installation. I hope this time will work. Thanks and goodnight

Wouldn't use that  :o

Why not try Waterfox  http://www.waterfoxproject.org/      , or the new Opera.

Safari for Windows is abandonware.
I recommend you to try Pale Moon.

I tried waterfox and palemon and I got the same problem with firefox issue. Couple of days ago I installed firefox again with customize installation only unchecked Mozilla Maintainance Service prior to installation of firefox. I will see if there's another update will firefox again show only the new version or the old and updated version of firefox in add/remove.

Continuing from my previous message. Does the new Opera web browser have the option to not remember and story browsing history at all so i won't be automatically logged in when i open up superantispyware free forum after i clicked log out prior to closing the browser?

Simply cleaning your browsing history, including cookies, whenever you close the browser would accomplish that.
Probably work in all browsers.

Yes it should, all browsers have the ability to delete browsing history and cookies when the browser is closed also, it does in IE 11 anyway so no need for 3rd party browsers ;D
