Problem with aswrvrt.sys (Won't boot)
« on: August 30, 2014, 12:48:08 PM »
Hello,
I am experiencing the same problem as others reported.
Windows 7 64bits.
Does not boot - regular boot stops at the windows icon, safe mode stuck at aswrvrt.sys.
I ran frst and attached the output log file.
Will appreciate any help.

You appear to be a lot of system files missing.  What happened prior to the non boot ?

Start the computer in recovery mode and select Command Prompt
Type in the following command and press enter :

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows

On completion try a normal boot
