Additional device

  I currently have Avast on my laptop, its the version with firewall (that i decided to upgrade to).  I am shortly going to receive a samsung android tablet, can i transfer my current version to the tablet, or do i need to download a seperate free version to the tablet.  Thanks in advance.

Your laptop is presumably MS Windows and you will be using the avast Internet Security version for windows - this isn't compatible with android tablets or phones.

You can go to the Google Play store ans search for either avast or avast! Mobile Security.
