avast says my code is a virus.
« on: November 12, 2014, 09:34:28 PM »
http://perfectmealplans.com/exitpop

On that page I am testing my new site exitpopit.com. It is loading my js
file from exitpopit.com and avast says it is a virus.

How do I get avast to stop saying my code is a virus?

My code is here:
http://exitpopit.com/embedUrl

There is one referenced blacklisted domain and it is forms.aweber dot com

This link may load Conduit browser hijacker adware.

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

Your code is not on the link you provided it is here:
hxxp://exitpopit.com/embed.js

Besides, testing a new site on another domain is a really strange practice.

should go here: forms.aweber dot com/form/displays.htm?id=jGxMrIycDGwsjA==
And for exitpopit dot com/js/jquery.validate.min.js I get error not found

No that is a very common practice and the only way to test code that is sold to end users and installed on there site.
How else would you test popups installed in client sites?

This site always passes:
exitpopit.com

When you take my embed code and add it to another site is always fails.
perfectmealplans.com/exitpop

Its kinda hard to sell code to clients if it will make there site fail a virus scan.

I need to know why Avast is flagging my js file a a virus.
