DNS Client Events - gamification.ff.avast.com
« on: January 30, 2015, 03:29:46 PM »
So I'm noticing quite a few 1014 warnings in my event viewer (and page cant be displayed messages in my browser) for at least a month now and can't help but notice that avast's gamification website more often than not is showing up at quite a high number of occurrences in comparison (there are other websites, but sporadic (and usually surrounded by gamification)).

Can anyone else verify these occurrences in their event viewer?

Thanks.

start > run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns
also check your running services.
It can very well be there is one disabled which should be running.

Ofcourse there is no page displayed, simply because there is none on that address.

Ive flushed it several times already, no change.  I should also mention this is doing the same thing on two different computers and in both cases this avast site shows up more than half of the occurrences.

All services appear to be enabled that sbould be.
