Hi,

Does anyone know if this is a false positive? My Avast blocked the programme and put it in my chest....but this is in the windows folder and I searched on google and it seemed to be safe according to some sites? And maybe connected to Skype? Most I found were comments that programmes weren't working because this file couldn't be found. The file hasn't been changed since 2012 and it only came up when malwarebytes was doing a system scan.

(I only started my searches because I received an email that had my name on it, but was sent by a different email address to mine, but was sent to people in my email address book....so although it doesn't seem like it was actually sent my email account, it was sent with my name in the title and to my address book contacts. Not sure if this is connected.)

Thanks!

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
