Avast cannot scan some files?
« on: September 09, 2015, 12:20:20 AM »
So uhhh...
I just ran a quick scan of Avast! quick scan, when it finished I got an error that said some files could not be scanned:

Are these viruses? Any help is greatly appreciated.

They appear to be windows updates and as such will be protected.

Files that can't be scanned are just that, not that they are infected or suspect.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.4.6112 (build 24.4.9067.762) UI 1.0.803/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

I've had this too, though with me it only shows one file. It began to appear in my scans as soon as Windows 10 first became available to download on my computer.
