Updated Avast Last Night/Can't Receive E-Mail

I use SeaMonkey to read and send my e-mail. I was able to receive my e-mail last night before I updated Avast to the latest version. Now I cannot receive my e-mails. Is there any Avast setting that would prevent me from getting my e-mail? Thanks, Bob.

check that your mail settings have not changed

They have not changed. Is there any setting in Avast to allow/prevent SeaMonkey to read my mail? Thanks.

Is the certificate imported ?
Are you using ssl ?
What exact version of avast do you have ?
