This is what Trend Micro Anti Spyware found after I installed Limewire from it's own site. Limewire says that the soft is an open source and that there is absolutely no spyware, adware, viruses in their soft. But I thinks this registry entries that belonged to Groktster.com do snap up personal info.

i have not had any problems with limewire,,,but i dont use it much at all
the interesting thing that im wondering about limewire
is the integrity of the music files it downloads
im sure the whole shebang is full of vulnerabilitys,,,however many people i know use it all the time
i thnik the fully registered version comes with better security
i only have the free version

Seems a Trend Micro Anti Spyware false positive.
If you're using the last, legit, free version of Limewire, you're ok to ignore that detections.

If you suspect that the registry entries belong to Groktster, well, you can remove then.
Uninstall Limewire and install it again.
The best things in life are free.

Hello,

I have and use Limewire myself and as long as you are not using it to download keygens I think you should be fine.
