Infection with HTML:Script-inf detected by Avast
« on: August 25, 2015, 08:27:14 PM »
Please can you help me with this problem:

Whenever I click on a photo posted by me on a hosting site, Avast warns me that blocked an infected URL with |{gzip} at the end.
Infection: HTML:Script-inf.
Whatever browser i use it's the same thing.

Thank you in advance!

When I upload photos on www.imagebam.com and www.imgbox.com and i post them on any forum online they warn me it's infection.
It seems www.imagevenue.com it's working.

Could be quantserve adware that is being flagged there, besides the website has outdated server software.
What is the Quantserve virus? -> http://www.smileytraffic.com/quantserve.htm

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
