Do you use any other antivirus in your computer? You should repair your avast installation and get clean...
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > avast! antivirus > Remove. Then choose Repair function in the popup window (Repair). You must be connected to the internet while repairing.

and what other antiviruses or protection  (without conflict)
Do not try other antivirus AT THE SAME TIME or you'll get conflict for sure. First get clean then let's think in other protections.
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning with avast?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning
Select for scanning archives.
Boot.

thank you for your prompt reply. I tried to repair. I got the confirmation that the repair had been done. I did a scan. When it comes to the trojan, it says that the quarantine is not activ. At that moment, I can't get a connection to the net.
This goes on and on for weeks !! I'm fed up !!
thanks for your help^

 :)  Hi Madame :

If you can NOT get a connection to the net, you somehow
need to get "Winsockfix" available from :
     www.spychecker.com/program/winsockxpfix.html
on your machine, most likely by downloading it from
another machine on to a "bootable" CD, which can then
be put into your machine. Should also install "Ewido" from
     www.ewido.net/en , a good & FREE program that
"specializes" in detecting & removing trojans, worms, etc
