Avast no activated but it says is activate
« on: August 21, 2016, 05:10:31 PM »
I am a regular pro avast subscriber. On windows 10.

I had a kernel security check failure thus I had to restart the computer from a previous system point (backUp).
Using the safe mode.
Windows said everything went smooth, and in fact the pc ( a  laptop, HP with AMD8 quadcore)  is running ok but Avast.
From then Avast got a problem. It says, the first screenshot is not active protection.

I am attaching the screen shot.
Your help is appreciated, I have not found the solution withn the Avast forum.
Do I have to re_install avast  as my best try?
I requested the license file again, received, copied on the desktop but when I tried to use it says it is corrupetd and so on (second screenshot)

yours Sincerely

Perform a repair of avast.
If that doesn't solve the problem, perform a clean installation of the latest version.
