Avast not detected by Security Center

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I'm new to this forum. Why does Security Center in the Control Panel of Windows XP indicate I have no virus protection? Any way of fixing this?

Your right this has been discussed before, many times, did you try a forums search function ? your title should pivk up something.

This however, is usually a windows issue which is usually resolved by a windows repair of Run sfc /scannow
