Author Topic: My HW firewall block outgoing packets to avast,port 80,every 4 minutes! Why?  (Read 2955 times)

All work perfectly, but avast try to send packets from all my pc ports to his servers on port 80, my firewall is full of this line of log... can i disable this into avast? What avast trying to do?

Looks like Avast is trying to connect to its stream-servers and you block it.

What kind of information is trying to send this freeware antivirus? My security are compromized? Noone know?

If you want Avast to work properly, you need to allow it to connect.

A decent firewall is not just saying [BLOCK] but also will tell you why it is blocked.

And as Asyn said, setup your firewall correctly and let it allow everything from avast.
