regsvr32.exe Windows 10
« on: April 28, 2017, 10:45:57 PM »
Hi there,

For a week(or two) now avast keeps on informing me about potential danger in regsvr32.exe,  :-\
I looked it up and I didn't find any standard fix for this problem and because I don't feel confident in doing it on my own,  :-[
I decided to look for help on official forum.

Will I find here any brave soul to help me with this problem?  ;)

Submit the file to VirusTotal and post the link to the result here.
Also attach a screenshot of the message that avast is giving you.

avast doesn't say anything about a potential danger in regsvr32.

It tells you the culprit is that link.

You're system is infected.

Follow the instructions > https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=194892.0

It looks like Malwarebytes took care of the infection.  Are you still seeing any warnings from Avast?

No I don't. It looks like everything is A-ok  :)
Although I'm a bit surprised  :o that avast couldn't handle it on its own, even at pro version.  :-\

There is no tool that can detect/remove everything.

If you see on your screenshot, avast blocked a blacklisted URL (URL:Mal)
