Avast blocked VX-VideoSplitter

VX VideoSplitter shows bnlank screen while choosing the cam to broadcast the Vid into several sites (vid goes like: cam->splitter->sites. The site told me, that they know the issue, and I need to completlly de-install avast to make it running again. Isn't there any other option? I do not want to uninstall - the best antivir - IMHO.

Please post in the correct forum and provide details.
